Breath. Awareness. Transformation.

The breath is the bridge between body and mind. Prāṇāyāma teaches us how to cross it.

This 50-hour Prāṇāyāma Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who are ready to explore one of yoga's most profound and often overlooked practices. Rooted in traditional yogic philosophy and supported by modern respiratory anatomy and nervous system science, this training will deepen your understanding of the breath as a tool for transformation.

Whether your intention is to teach pranayama or simply cultivate a more meaningful personal practice, you'll leave with the knowledge, confidence, and embodied experience to integrate these teachings into everyday life.

Online Learning

Our online modules provide the foundation for your learning. You'll move through lectures on yogic philosophy, respiratory anatomy, nervous system regulation, subtle energy, and the traditional pranayama techniques at your own pace. These lessons are designed to build understanding before we gather in person to practise, refine, and teach.

There will be on-demand modules as well as live online training.

In-Person Learning

Our in-person learning days are where the breath becomes an experience rather than a concept.

Through guided practice, teaching labs, partner work, discussion, mentorship, and real-time feedback, you'll learn not only how to perform pranayama techniques safely, but how to confidently share them with others. Expect immersive learning, thoughtful discussion, and a supportive community that encourages curiosity and growth.

In-person training will occur on scheduled Sundays 11am-4pm.

Who Is This Training For?

HYBRID - TORONTO, FALL 2026

This training is for anyone who feels called to explore the deeper limbs of yoga.

For the yoga teacher wanting to confidently integrate pranayama into classes.

For the practitioner who wants to move beyond asana and discover the transformative potential of the breath.

For healthcare professionals, movement specialists, and lifelong learners interested in nervous system regulation and mindful breathing.

No teaching experience is required. While a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is recommended, it is not mandatory. An open mind and willingness to learn are the only prerequisites.

Why Study Prāṇāyāma?

Long before yoga became known for movement, it was a practice of working with the breath.

Prāṇāyāma offers a direct pathway into the autonomic nervous system, helping cultivate focus, resilience, emotional regulation, and presence. More than simply breathing exercises, these ancient practices teach us how to influence our state of being through conscious awareness.

In a world filled with constant stimulation, pranayama reminds us that our greatest source of steadiness has been with us all along.
